Timepiece 2 Cleared: Bonus Art Pieces Added!

WAAAnderful--we've hit our first Stretch Goal! This would be a good time to fully introduce the Stretch Goal section of the KS, which will hopefully continue to grow into new features and additions to the book:

Timepiece 1 Cleared: GOAL REACHED

The initial goal is $25,000, and we reached it in less than three days. Huzzah! Now this vile, eggplant-colored Tome of Eternal Darkness will become a reality thanks to you fantastic fans. Clear up some space on your shelf, because the rest of your books won't want to be anywhere near this thing!

Timepiece 2 Cleared: BONUS ART PIECES

This stretch goal will graft several new pages right into the book, each one adorned with a full-color new image of Waluigi in a particular style. Ever wanted to see Waluigi drawn in the style of Final Fantasy's Yoshitaka Amano, Garfield's Jim Davis or The Simpsons' Matt Groening? ...No? Well, you will anyway with this tier, so prepare those eyeballs!

Timepiece 3: QUALITY BOOST

The now-classic Quality Boost stretch goal will spiffy up the books to the same degree as the past Brawl in the Family volumes. That means 1) heavier, higher-quality paper, 2) a shiny, foil title on the cover, 3) new inside cover art, and 4) stronger book binding to ensure if can take a beating. In short, the book gets stronger and prettier from this level-up.

Timepiece 4: ???

The next goal seems to be a bit of a mystery for now, but that appearance of Kingsonnn Dededoo has me curious...

Thanks for all your support, and my apologies for the site being down last week. I was actually on a family trip so I wasn't able to be online much--I know, bad timing, but the trip had been planned for longer than the KS. At any rate, I'm back at home now and able to keep tabs on everything, reply to messages, etc, so keep spreading the word and I'll continue to add sections to the book!

Head for the hills--we've awakened a sleeping giant.

Joking aside, a thousand thanks to all of you who've supported me and my silly comics yet again to the point of success. It took under three days to reach its goal, so the rest of the time can be used to help make this book extra-beefy and extra-purple.

We will be adding a PayPal option very soon, once we get it all set up! Stay tuned.

On a more embarrassing note, I would like to humbly ask you international (non-USA) pledgers to consider something: I've goofed on the worldwide shipping again, thanks to mistaking it for what it cost to ship our Baton plushes internationally. But $15 is a pretty far cry from the $35-40 it turns out it actually costs to ship one book across the world, and that can make for an expensive mistake when compounded with hundreds of backers...!

If this is an issue, please please please don't worry about it! You're under no obligation to cover for my mistakes. But if you don't mind raising your pledge slightly to help cover the charge, I would greatly appreciate it. If that's too much after the cost of the tier, feel free to say TOO BAD. WALUIGI TIME to me. I still enjoy irony!

Enough of that business. Now is the time to celebrate! So grab your mustache wax and plum-colored overalls and let out a hearty WAAAAA--the purpleocalypse is almost upon us.
